VSTHost problem

I know there was some earlier discussion about LS not working properly in VSTHost and wondering whether anyone has got it working. I've installed version 20090803 of LS and have tried a lot of hosts. Most work but some don't. None are as simple as VSTHost (I just want LS VST followed by FreeVerb3_impulser. I don't need the overhead of other complex software like Reaper.)

VSTHost gives me an exception error with this version of LS. Is there a later version of the VST where this has been addressed?

PS I look forward to the day when LS will host the VST reverb plugin itself

There is no more recent release of LinuxSampler for Windows yet.
