It looks like they have purchased the Code base and rights to use GIGA, but will likely not be producing a new version of GigaStudio. It will be interesting to see what they use and where they use it within their own product range (ARIA etc.). It looks likey that Gigapulse (Convulution Reverb) will be high on their list for integration into their own stack.
