gigedit & OS X

I was trying to compile the linuxsampler programs and libraries on OS X. Didn't have much luck yet.
Anyone know what in gigedit doesn't work right with OS X ?

The announcement from 2008-01-03 says "Please note: gigedit is not yet available for Mac, we still need to do some work on this."

Well, regarding gigedit on OSX, that's more targeted to people who want precompiled binaries. We don't provide precompiled gigedit binaries yet. But it *should* compile for OSX.

What exactly is your problem when trying to do so?
