Cubase Studio 5 blacklists LinuxSampler32.dll

Hi guys. I use Cubase Studio 5 and could not manage to get the LinuxSampler VST working in it...well it doesn't even get loaded up in the first place. The LinuxSampler32.dll is placed in the correct folder, and Cubase can find it but apparently blacklists it (listed in VST2xBlacklist.xml). As far as I know, this just means the plugin failed to load because it doesn't conform to some VST spec or something. Any ideas? (running the Fantasia front-end as standalone seems to work by the way)
