new, maybe too new

I am very new to the who music on the PC scene. I am using Sony Acid and have had some fun using loops. I am just starting to look at using Midi and softsynth, samplers etc. I downloaded a few demos and played around but can't afford most of the ones out there. I heard of this one, and felt "Thank God!" I have downloaded the windows version and installed, downloaded the ASIO for all, my next PC will have a better sound card. Everything seems to be ok, but I have no samples or Midi instruments at all. I am not sure if I did anything wrong during the install or not. I looked around the site, but can't seem to get a grip on what I need to do next. Where can I get samples, were any supposed to come with the install? Can I use soundfonts? I hope I am not being anoying. Just point me in the right direction.
