Where did you get that information? Nothing of the sort has been announced in http://linuxsampler.org

Hello,

at 1st a mail from Lionstracs:

* LINUXSAMPLER 2.0 :
* implemented Roland GS NRPN 1ArrH which allows to set volume per note
* implemented Roland GS NRPN 1CrrH which allows to set pan per note
* implemented Roland GS NRPN 1DrrH which allows to set reverb send per note (in this implementation of the sampler its simply hard routed to the 1st effect send of the sampler channel, no matter what the actual effect type is)
* implemented Roland GS NRPN 1ErrH which allows to set chorus send per note (in this implementation of the sampler its simply hard routed to the 2nd effect send of the sampler channel, no matter what the actual effect type is)
* NEW: sfz/sf2 engines soundfonts Loader and player
* sf2: 24bit support
* sf2: loop support
* sf2: implemented overridingRootKey
* sf2: implemented instrument global region
* sfz engine: fixed playback of 16 bit wav files on big endian CPUs
* sfz engine: added support for Ogg Vorbis sample files

Then I had a look into the repository:

You can check Version 2.0 for compilation.

with best regards
Norbert

Norbert, we've not long had a V1 release. So i think a V2 will be a little while yet.

Stay tuned. :)

Alex.

2010-09-15 schoenebeck
* fixed crash which occured when changing an already deployed sampler channel to a different engine type (e.g. from gig to sf2)
* bumped version to 1.0.0cvs5

This is the same message as Liontracs wrote. In my actual version I cannot use SF2 files.
How can I load an actual version with all this chanages?

I think Lionstracs are using their own version numbers of things, we certainly haven't released any 2.0 version.
How can I load an actual version with all this chanages?
The changes on the http://www.linuxsampler.org page reflect the current state in our CVS repository. You have to check out the code from there and build it yourself, see http://www.linuxsampler.org/downloads.html#cvs.

Sorry, but this was not my question.
I use LinuxSampler with Windows, and I cannot compile any C++ code.
My language is only Delphi. Therefore I must have a compiled version of LinuxSampler.
SF2 is for me very significant. But in the actually, COMPILED version it is NOT included.
Therefore my question again:

How can I load an actual version with all this chanages?

Sorry, you can't. We currently don't provide any compiled version later than 1.0.0.

./configure: line 14025: `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(SNDFILE, sndfile >= 1.0.2, ac_cv_snd

Hope your friend has seen these instructions. (They are a little bit outdated, now that mingw has the mingw-get installer, but most of it should be correct.)
Create of libgig has this errormessage:

Code: Select all

./configure: line 14025: syntax error near unexpected token `SNDFILE,'
./configure: line 14025: `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(SNDFILE, sndfile >= 1.0.2, ac_cv_snd
file=1, ac_cv_sndfile=0)'
You have either forgot to install libsndfile, or to run this:

Code: Select all

export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig
