Beginner Needing Some Windows Help

Post by stephen_s » Tue Aug 03, 2010 1:50 am

Hi,

I downloaded the Windows install package for Linux Sampler and it seemed to setup fine. However, using Fantasia I can't get any sound when an instrument is loaded and I'm using the built in keyboard. I downloaded ASIO 4 all and that is running. Also, I'm running windows 7. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't know if I'm just missing something really obvious or what. Also, I tried messing around with buffer size and other options in ASIO and changing those didn't work either. Here are a couple pictures of my setup.

Thanks a bunch,
Stephen

Hi Stephen,

Your ASIO4ALL screen shows that the speaker output is disabled as something else in Win7 is using sound... You'll need to find out what that is and get ASIO4ALL running with that enabled before you'll get sound :)
