Can't find any card error message

Post by dbolton » Wed Mar 10, 2010 9:30 pm

I just installed LinuxSampler on Windows 7 (64-bit). When I open JSampler Fantasia a dialog pops up with the following message:

Code: Select all

Getting Audio Output Drivers: AudioOutputDeviceAsio: Can't find any card
I searched for this error message on Google and the only references were the actual source code. Any advice about how to get LinuxSampler working?

If I press "OK" and continue, I am unable to open the "Audio Devices" panel on the right-hand side. I can't get any playback.

You either need to have a soundcard with ASIO driver or you can use a workaround like Asio4all.

I recommend you to read this:
