pitch bends

Post by 10101 » Sat Jan 30, 2010 3:34 am

First, thank you for a great application, linuxsampler sounds great on my 64bit ubuntu machine. I was wondering how to get pitch bend messages working in the latest version (I tried the latest CVS snapshots of libgig and linuxsampler). Pitch bends worked well in the older 0.5.1 release, but somehow in the latest version with the same setup I'm not getting the pitch changes. I just downgraded and upgraded to CVS to check this.

It works fine here. Maybe the "Pitchbend range" parameter in your gig files is 0? In LS 0.5.1 this parameter was ignored, and the pitch bend range used was always 2. You'll find the parameter in gigedit by right-clicking on an instrument and choose Properties.
