Upsampling and need to keep WAV markers

Hi Guys,
I need to upsample/resample some WAVs from 44.1khz to 48khz and everything I try from the command line creates a new file and therefore looses all loop and release markers. Does anyone know of either a commandline utility or an Audio App in Linux with a batch processor that will upsample/resample without loosing the markers?
I have tried libsamplesrate and sox so far...
