Help! Linuxsampler and Sonar 7

Post by dicerous » Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:19 pm

First of all I am so excited about linuxsampler, just a brilliant program.

I have a problem on my axiom 49 with linuxsampler and sonar7. When i load a program, only the top half of the keyboard plays the sample. If I use the transpose key on the axiom, I can get the full range from the sample, but just on the top keys. We have a thread going on at cakewalk.com. If you can help me, I'll be able to transfer the knowledge over there and get you some more users.

Maybe something stupid on my part, but also may be a bug.

Thank you so much!

Maybe this suggestion is just too simple, but I had to ask: Are you sure you got the correct zones enabled and layout on your Axiom?

Yes,

The axiom works fine with virtually all the other softsynths with current settings. Is there something special I need to do viz zones with linuxsampler? It does sound like a *zones* problem.

Nope, there shouldn't be any. I'm currently using an Axiom 61, which works dandy (as long as I remember to send to the MIDI channels I've set the sample channels in LinuxSampler to).
