Instruments DB directory

Post by madallig » Sun Nov 25, 2018 6:28 am

Hello.
I have reinstalled Linux sampler after a long break - I'm getting this error message:
Instruments DB directory 'C:\Users\user\.linuxsampler' does not exist!

Also another error message: Could not scan LADSPA effects: library path 'C:\Program Files\ladspa' doesn't exist

I first only installed the 64 bit version and then install the 32 bit version as well and I have updated Java

I'm using Windows 10 64. I reason I'm going back to Linuxsampler is for more sample support and
bounce to track in Cakewalk by Bandlab does not work well with GPlayer (.gig player)

Anyway advise ASAP - I have a deadline ...

Many thanks!

Regarding the ladspa error: You probably don't have any LADSPA effects installed yet.

For the instruments DB issue: in case you are using Fantasia as frontend for the sampler, you can request Fantasis to create the instruments DB.
