good-natured unity "play nice" agreement .01 "plain english" edition
1. be true to your base code. you are who you are. embrace it.
2. communicate clearly. word-play is fun, but it can be confusing. be aware of your intended audience and how what you say may be construed.
a. define "harmony" - sounds a lot like "play nice", but some broken code interprets this as "harm on y" as in y chromosome being bad, as in misandry.
b. define "melody" - sounds a lot like "be true to your base code", but some broken code interprets this as "m'lady" which can be construed as chauvinistic, as in misogyny.
c. define "the golden rule" - sounds a lot like "play nice" but is easily construed as "having gold = making rules". having "rules" can be construed as "some are better then others". better to use guidelines, as in suggestions from a guide, or agreements, as in being agreeable. those are not as easy to misconstrue.
3. remember to "play nice". we're all in this together, let's be cooperative, in the spirit of ubuntu, which translates to "human kindness". in peace, love, unity, and respect.
