Hi,
I have installed everything, Realtime kernel, Jack running in realtime, qsampler, and all the other bits and bobs, but when I type "linuxsampler" into a shell I get "bash: no such command". I'm usuing ubuntu, and my Packet Manager, when I search for LinuxStudio says it doesn't exist. How do I get linuxstudio to appear in my packet manager?
Cheers, Alec

Re: Software Sources?
Hi Alec,
LinuxSampler is not currently in the Ubuntu repositories (due to percieved license issues). You will need to un-install the Ubuntu versions of qsampler and libgig, then download and install the Debian DEB packages available from http://download.linuxsampler.org/packages/debian/. Download the latest versions of the files, and don't worry about the '-dev' packages unless you will be compiling parts of linuxsampler yourself.
Hope this helps,
GrahamG
