Hi, i'm back again with my LS problems.
I trying with no success to create a Jack audio output in LS.
I get the following error "_lscp_client_evt_request: send: Mauvais descripteur de fichier" which translates to bad file descriptor.
My Jack install is working correctly (tested with other softwares).
Thanks for your help.

Hi Guys,
A little more information would be very useful:
What linux distrubution are you using?
Are you using the release version of LinuxSampler or have you compiled and installed it yourselves?
Which version of Jack are you using?
Are you using Qsampler or Fantasia as a front-end or are you running linuxsampler from the command line?
I have linuxsampler (realeased version for Debian) running through Qsampler (also released version) with the latest Jack in Puppy Linux. It was obviously not compiled with the latest Jack but seems to be working so far.

My config:
I have ubuntu 8.10 AMD64.
Jackd 0.116.1 compiled from source (release package)
LS & libs compiled from cvs.
QSampler frontend.

This may be just jack 0.116.1, as jackmp 1.9.0 works ok.
However the following now occurs as well:
Start linuxsampler
Start a template from terminal
Then start Fantasia (for an adjustment, for example) and the LS backend stops, and exits.
Starting Fantasia, without having a template already running, doesn't produce the same problem.
This occurs with the latest SVN LSampler for both 32 and 64bit boots.
So i'm wondering here if the two are somewhat related.
Which front end are you fellas using?
Alex.

I also tried with jackdmp, which works ok.
So there is probably a problem with jack 0.116.1 on some configs (amd64 ?)
