Articulations (.art files)
I just unpacked a sample library that comes with a couple of .art files and I see that Linuxsampler has a partial implementation for articulations. So my question is: How do I use them?

Re: Articulations (.art files)
Sorry, .art file loading is not yet implemented in LS, only on libgig side yet. Andreas said it should work with gigdump, but that's it .... yet.
.art files revisited
I could find very little on this in ht e forum so I thought I would ask.
I have several .art files associated with my sample library. How do I use theese in linuxsampler?
Thanks!

Re: .art files revisited
So is that a yes but only with libgig? What does that mean?

Re: .art files revisited
AFAIK, the functionality exist, but only in libgig, so you can't use .art files with LinuxSampler yet.

Ok cool. I guess it is something to look forward to

Re: .art files revisited
Just to clarify: Loading and saving articulation files is probably something that Gigedit should handle. But it would be cool to be able to apply them directly in LinuxSampler without having to save an extra copy of the original GIG file. At the moment you have to find someone with a working copy of Gigastudio to "patch" your GIG files.

Re: .art files revisited
So in Gigastudio you can patch the file and have a new .gig to use in linuxsampler?
I own Gigastudio 3 but have never used it. I just bought it to try the VSL performance tool in Windows.
I will look into this.
Thanks!

Re: .art files revisited
There's instructions (as a PDF) over at VSL on how to use articulation files in Gigastudio.
