Note bouncing up and down octaves

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this intermittent problem. I'm using the CVS build (updated 2Nov) and sometimes experience what I can only decsribe as a 'bouncing' of the note - linuxsampler plays a tiny bit of the note pressed and then seems too 'bounce' up and down the octaves playing tiny sections of random notes. When this happens it sometimes also causes the computer to freeze. A reboot and a newly created lscp seems to solve the problem for me, but I have a friend who I shared the build with who experiences this most of the time, even with a reboot.
Any ideas?
