How do I uninstall LinuxSampler on Mac OS?

I need to uninstall LinuxSampler on Mac OS. What is the best way to do that?

Also, when I run "brew doctor" on the command line it gives me a list of unexpected dylibs (see below) that I believe were installed by LinuxSampler. I need to confirm that before deleting them.

Code: Select all

Have you tried pkgutil?

List installed packages:

Code: Select all

pkgutil --pkgs
List files of package:

Code: Select all

pkgutil --files org.linuxsampler
Unfortunately Apple remove the uninstall command. So you would need to delete the listed files manually and then let pkgutil "forget" the package(s):

Code: Select all

sudo pkgutil --forget org.linuxsampler
Or ... you also find some shell commands on the net by people which would remove the files automatically by piping the output of pkgutil --files to rm.

AFAICS, we currently have the following 12 packages that you would need to uninstall:
  1. org.linuxsampler
  2. org.linuxsampler.codecs
  3. org.linuxsampler.fantasia
  4. org.linuxsampler.gigedit
  5. org.linuxsampler.gigtools
  6. org.linuxsampler.libgig
  7. org.linuxsampler.libgigedit
  8. org.linuxsampler.libgtk
  9. org.linuxsampler.liblinuxsampler
  11. org.linuxsampler.vst
  12. org.linuxsampler.qsampler
