MIDI program change?

Post by count_fuzzball » Mon Sep 01, 2008 8:57 am

I've got a m-audio 88es 88 key midi controller, when I attempt to change program with my keyboard, qsampler/linuxsampler reports that it

Received MIDI program change (prog=1,ch=0)

but the instrument preset doesn't change.

Received MIDI program change (prog=2,ch=0)

doesn' t do anything either.

am I to take it that this isn't implemented yet?

It is implemented. But have you created an instrument map so LinuxSampler know what to load when it receive a program/bank change?

instrument map? I can change the giga file's instrument in the channel edit box if that's what you mean.

No, I'm talking about a MIDI Instrument Map:
