liblscp-dev_1.0.0 issue - problem - bug

Post by Torte » Tue Nov 05, 2024 11:38 pm

Hi there again!

I build the package liblscp-dev_1.0.0-1.1_amd64.deb from the tar archive from the subversion repository. When I try to install the package, I get an error message from the Terminal:

Code: Select all

Fehler in »/usr/share/doc-base/liblscp-dev.liblscp«, Zeile 11: alle »Format«-Abschnitte sind ungültig.
Also when I want to open gigedit, while Linuxsampler ist running with the qsampler GUI, the message box shows:

Code: Select all

Channel 0 lscp_edit_channel_instrument: Instrument editing is not supported for this instrument format (errno=100)Instrument editing is not supported for this instrument formatChannel 0 Could not launch an appropriate instrument editor for the given instrument! Make sure you have an appropriate instrument editor like 'gigedit' installed and that it placed its mandatory DLL file into the sampler's plugin directory.
The Terminal shows the message:

Code: Select all

Starting LSCP network server (0.0.0.0:8888)...LSCPServer: Could not bind server socket, retrying for 180 seconds...
So I guess, there is something broken in the liblscp-dev package.

Would be great, if this could be fixed!

Thank you, Torte

Okay! I've downloaded and installed the Packages:

liblscp6_1.0.0-1+b1_amd64.deb
liblscp-dev_1.0.0-1+b1_amd64.deb

It seems that everything is working now.

Thanks and regards

Torte
