Re: HDSP 9632
I haven't used it my self, but RME usually deliver great stuff. The HDSP 9652 is regarded as the most affordable best solution for multi-track recording (while say Apogee is the best but not excessively affordable to most people) in particular on GNU/Linux because their support for ALSA. I imagine that the HDSP 9632 should work equally as good since it based on the same chipset (or family) and share the ALSA module with its big brother.
