Running Debian testing and compiled LS. followed Debian how to.Started with libgig then LS .Installing each of the deb packages as they were built.Last one was gigedit.When I load up a gig file it has red error and when I try to click edit it gives me error message it cant find gigedit and to make sure it is in LS plugin folder. This is the output of my LS plugin folder.

I found bin file in /usr/bin and copied it to plugin folder but that didnt help.

Please check that you do not have old versions of libgig, linuxsampler or gigedit under /usr/local . That is the most frequent reason for the problem you described and can be the case if you installed libgig/linuxsampler/gigedit manually with "make install" before.
