I tried loading the LinuxSampler AudioUnit in Mac OS X El Capitan using Logic Pro X. It fails validation with the following error:

Code: Select all

validating Audio Unit LinuxSampler Unit by LinuxSampler:

Unfortunately, Mac OS X El Capitan will not let users (even superusers) create files/directories in /home, so I can't hack a fix by symlinking /home/persson/mac/x86_64/lib/linuxsampler/liblinuxsampler.3.dylib to its real location in /usr/local/lib/

Any suggestions?

Thank you.
