Hey, Benno! This is Darren.

Nice board! This should make it a lot easier to work out and document ideas.

We often met there once in a while, so that was unoffically always the case. I just added a note about the IRC channel on the developers page of the LS website, so maybe it gets more populated in future.

diito to the above. yesterday i played an orchestration for one of the tunes for the album I'm currently working on using some VSL samples in LS for the first time. I've been using LA for my giga-piano for ages but not much else. Did an A/B comparison with my Kontakt2. LS was totally superior. I can't wait to replace my Kontakt2/library with LS/gig files.Congratulations. Now, my next big issue is getting the DB worked out. Also the way Qsampler sets up jack devices and so forth really needs some explanation. perhaps I'm missing something ? think i'll try our fantasia too.

anyway, great to see this forum and also the extra activity around here of late. 2008=great :)

best,

g.

Darren, great to see you here, and the Linuxforum up and running!

I hope it's the start of something big, as the song goes!

Alex.
