Re: GIG incorrect playback behavior

Hello Andreas:

The bug fix corrected both the attack and the release of behavior! Thank you so much for your continued efforts!

Let me know if I can help out with any other testing.

Re: GIG incorrect playback behavior

Here are some short renderings using Linuxsampler and GS3 of the Sarangi instrument from Quantum Leap Rare Instruments. The sounds were rendered using an identical midi sequence, i.e. same velocity, timing, tempo, etc. The only post processing performed was normalization to -0.5 dB. Note that both t...

GIG incorrect playback behavior

I recently started playing with Linuxsampler after quite some time away and was very pleased to see its continued development so a BIG THANK YOU to the Linuxsampler team and all contributors! I have noticed that some certain instrument articulations do not play back correctly. These are on East West...

Any new releases for 2011?

It has been quite some time since the last releases. Are there any new releases planned, particularly for the Windows and Windows VST versions?

I am aware about the CVS versions, but quite honestly, I am not savvy enough to compile my own. I'd rather make music :)

Thank you in advance!

Development news?

Is there any news on any new developments or releases for LinuxSampler? The front page of the main website shows continued activity with the various projects, but the boards seem bereft of posts from the devs and such :?: Please give us hope that LS is still alive and evolving into bigger and better...

Re: How to setup multiple MIDI Ports for LS VSTi (winXP 32bit)

Is there any progress with this function/behavior? If not, are there any workarounds?

Re: Windows beta pre-release (incl. VST and 64 bit binaries)

The last linuxsampler_20090714_setup.exe has been working great but I encountered strange behavior with one of my libraries. It is a Sarangi patch from the Quantum Leap Rare Instruments Giga. The GIG is a version 2.x format and heavily keyswitched. Some of the keyswitch sounds are corrupted. I check...

Re: Windows beta pre-release (incl. VST and 64 bit binaries)

And another release candidate: http://download.linuxsampler.org/dev/win/linuxsampler_20090704_setup.exe Besides further fixes, this one includes the recently discussed VST state saving (fx sends and midi maps) and it allows to install 64 bit VST and 32 bit VST version of LinuxSampler alongside on a...

Re: Windows beta pre-release (incl. VST and 64 bit binaries)

That a new instance of Linuxsampler VSTi is loaded everytime you add a channel with it, is probably the way FL Studio is supposed to work. If you want to use one LS instance for several channels, you should instead choose "MIDI Out" for the other channels and select the same "MIDI port number" for ...
