how about 'source' instead of 'output' and 'output' or 'device' instead of input ?

audio devices handling
area of much confusion for me for sometime. i have created a jack device with 32 channels but Fantasia has the 'outputs' registered in the 'inputs' dialogue ! and whne i have made my assignments and save the session, when next i open it i have to re-assign all the outputs again 'cause everything is ...

I just built Fantasia. Grogor.. salut ! Looks really good, feels nice and tight and has fantastic database functionality. I have been using Qsampler for 3 years and have found it wonderful, but the database has issues and so I put Fantasia in. Glad I did many thanks.

one idea on the channel meter is perhaps implementing Steve Harris's 'meterbridge' as a "plug-in" so you choose which kind of meter to use; digital.pm,gellyfish etc and not much coding needs to be done. i'm not a coder of course so it might be a stupid suggestion, anyway just a thought

diito to the above. yesterday i played an orchestration for one of the tunes for the album I'm currently working on using some VSL samples in LS for the first time. I've been using LA for my giga-piano for ages but not much else. Did an A/B comparison with my Kontakt2. LS was totally superior. I can...
