I can't guarantee it will work. But that's the most obvious way to do it.
Good luck with the project!

Re: PS3 and LinuxSampler
Why not?
If you install some GNU/Linux distro on its hard drive then you can also install Linuxsampler. Put netJack on the PS3 and your PC to send all audio data over the LAN so that you only need to use your PC's audio interface.

Re: List of sample libraries
My question is: Are there any VSL libraries still available in the Gigastudio format?

List of sample libraries
I think it might be useful to compile a list of sample libraries that LinuxSampler can load. In practice that means libraries in the Gigasampler/Gigastudio format and raw WAVE or AIFF samples to be assembled with Gigedit. Please let me know of additional libraries so that we can extend this list. C...

Re: What's your setup?
Speaking of hardware, I'm interested in finding reports on how well the devices on FFADO (formely FreeBoB) list work: http://www.ffado.org/?q=devicesupport%2Flist&filter0=&filter1=&op2=OR&filter2%5B%5D=perfect http://www.ffado.org/?q=devicesupport%2Flist&filter0=&filter1=&op2=OR&filter2%5B%5D=good L...

Re: What's your setup?
I've just begun setting up my studio to use a computer for more than MIDI sequencing. My set up is Gentoo Linux with the Pro-Audio Overlay running Ardour for multi-track recording and mixing, Rosegarden for notation (printing via Lilypond) and MIDI sequencing. Until Ardour3 is released, which includ...

Re: Building Fantasia from CVS
No. I think I got it from:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/juife/
But I finally did what said and copied all jars from the latest JSampler distribution so it works now.
Thanks!

Re: Total Stream / voice count
I don't know if this is possible in the current version, but it would be a great feature when running orchestral libraries: It would be great to temporarily "disable" an instrument so that it gets unloaded but can be "enabled" and reloaded with just a click on a button in the GUI. That way it would ...
