Fantasia bindings list too large to fit into screen
At the moment i'm attempting to add 167 midi jack bindings in Fantasia. The popop list goes to 53 before it disappears off the bottom of the screen. I can see down to number 53, before i have to start counting with the down arrow, out of view, and attempt to correctly add the right binding. (A slow ...

Re: A little friendly nitpicking.
It would certainly help for not only realtime kernel users (32 and 64bit alike) but those who use their box as an all in one, do everything, tool, if developers coded jack in as a native audio device, and not, as is the case with quite a few apps, some sort of wrapper to provided token support. (whi...

Re: Expression Pedal
If you have Fantasia installed, you can use the FX send facility in a channel to define a set CC number. (or hack the lscp file directly) Create a new FX send, name it and hit enter, then on the right of the popup, select which cc you want to control the send with (in your case, 11). Allocate the au...

Re: midi note off messages lost
Just a quick heads up here. It's fairly common practise using many sample libs to leave a tiny gap between notes, to avoid precisely this kind of scenario. A note off may be sent, but some samples use the note off to trigger a release, and the note may have in fact not ended, as one would assume sen...

http://proaudio.tuxfamily.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page If you're new to Gentoo, then the pro-audio overlay provides a central point for all audio apps, and is comprehensive, with most packages right up to date, including those required by LinuxSampler I'm not sure what's happened to the LS ebu...

Re: EWQL to gigastudio
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. I did a bit of fishing around, and no luck. The EWQL format is proprietary, and not a format for linux, or indeed, usuable in Linuxsampler. So it's a case of sticking to the Windows box for your EWQL stuff. If you want to extract the samples, and convert...

Re: LSCP commands
Norbert,
I'm not using Windows, but there is a jack version for windows, so maybe that will give you more options.
http://jackaudio.org/download
(Windows is jack2, down the page a little)
Good luck.
Alex.

Re: Jsampler : gigedit error compiling
Just as a further tip, if you want to use jack as the midi device in LS, you can use an app called a2jmidid as the "converter" for your alsa hardware devices. It converts alsa devices in, into jack devices, and shows up as jack devices in a patchbay.
