Hi Tobias,
Andreas Persson has put together a How-To build Linuxsampler in Windows for MinGW - http://www.linuxsampler.org/msys.html
Check it out and see whether it is adaptable to MinGW64...

Re: LinuxSampler and Sonar 6
So, several instruments that use the same MIDI channel = Instrument Layering? You can manually configure that in LinuxSampler Fantasia standalone very easily... and I assume one could also do it in the VST version. I'll be able to test VST with Sonar 6 this weekend and will let you know what I find....

Re: LinuxSampler and Sonar 6
Hi again Jonathan,
In regard to convolution reverb in Windows.. give Freeverb3 Impulser vst a try... it's opensource and can use most IR wav files that are downloadable on the net.
'Instrument layering' I don't know what that is (I'm not a Gigastudio user) so can't help there.

Re: LinuxSampler and Sonar 6
Hi Jonathan, I use LinuxSampler in Windows, so perhaps I can help a bit. I'm not using Sonar 6 (but I have friend who has it so I will see if I can get him to install LinuxSampler and see if we can get it working for him). For MIDI ports I use the virtual MIDI port driver from the creator of MIDI-OX...

Hi Andreas,
This is using Fantasia Stand-Alone. I'll download you new dll and ask Erik to do so too. Thanks,
GrahamG

Re: Need guidance on next install steps ..
Hi Pete, My guess would be to follow the steps outlined in https://bb.linuxsampler.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=264 and include liblscp2 and liblscp in the list of things to completely uninstall... What version of Ubuntu Linux are you using? Qsampler does not have as much functionality as Fantasia does, ...

Re: Windows beta pre-release (incl. VST and 64 bit binaries)
Hi Guys, I just had some feedback from a colleague of mine, who had problems on his WinXP laptop... "The culprit was Adobe Windows Sound, another ASIO wrapper than ASIO4ALL, that was selected because is was apparently first in the list. Since i don't know how to change the order in which the differe...

Building LinuxSampler CVS in 64-bit Ubuntu
Hi Guys, I recently loaded up Ubuntu Studio 8.04.1 (64-bit) and have attempted to build linuxsampler from CVS. I run into a problem with libgig, error message as below: CXXFLAGS="-O2 -msse -march=pentium4 -mfpmath=sse -ffast-math -fomit-frame-pointer -funroll-loops" ./configure --prefix=/usr --mandi...

Re: Need guidance on next install steps ..
Hi again Pete, Yup, you can remove the Debs using Synaptic (or just unlock them so you can install the new builds) and then rebuild using the same CVS folders. I can't remember which Jack dev off the top of my head, but I'd assume libjack 0.100.0-dev (though they might be dependent on each other in ...
