Re: OSX builds
I have LinuxsamplerAU.component under /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components. My user is "andreas", so under /Users/andreas/lib I have the dylib-files: $ pwd /Users/andreas $ ls lib libgig.6.dylib liblinuxsampler.3.dylib libsndfile.1.dylib $ I haven't copied anything to /Applications, the linuxsampler b...

Re: OSX builds
I downloaded and unpacked it. Shouldn't it be an AU? No, in this first experiment I just built the standalone linuxsampler, not the AU. OK. Understood: I copied the files over. The linuxsampler standalone application needs to be able to find the dylib files, that's why they have to be copied to for...

Re: ADSR Release Time is too long compared to original GIGSound!
The Linuxsampler envelopes are supposed to be very close to the Gigastudio ones. Can you list the gig files you get the problem with? Or could you make a mini test gig file that shows the difference between LS and GS?

Rendering faster than real-time isn't supported yet, sorry.
Glad to hear that LS is so efficient on your system.

Re: Bugs in sfz/sf2 engines
I just tried adding <control> loop_mode=loop_continuous to the sfz file of one of the sustaining instruments, and still no loop... so I guess this really is a bug? Looping actually worked, but you had to add loop_start and loop_end too. LS didn't read the loop info from the wav files. I just commit...

Re: Windows 64 bit VST: No GUI?
I've committed a fix for this now. The 64 bit LinuxSampler VST plugin should now be able to launch Fantasia even if there's only a 32 bit Java installed, and vice versa, the 32 bit plugin should be able to launch Fantasia with a 64 bit Java.

Re: Bugs in sfz/sf2 engines
I haven't encountered any playability issues so far, but when opening a saved project in Reaper 3.73 on XP SP3 (32bit), using the Fantasia frontend, SFZ/SF2 files fail to load (gig files load properly though). I've just committed a fix for this. The engine type wasn't saved in the plugin state info...

Re: instrument database support error message
q1: how can I tell what numerical value the dimension splits are set to? Gigedit doesn't show the numerical value, but you can drag the borders of the dimension zones with the mouse left and right. q2: can I create cross-fades for each dimension so each sample cross fades into the next when more ve...
