Re: SVN configure?

Hi!, I know it kind of outdated, but, it is possible to have the solution to these threat added to the documentation of how-to in the web page? I'm new to LinuxSampler and I'm NOT an advanced user but even so, I try to install LS through svn and end up loosing my head (and quite a number of hours :...

Re: Can't Run LinuxSampler and Ardour at the Same Time

Sounds like you've built LS without jack support.

If LS is only built with alsa, then it will grab the HW device, which is normal alsa behaviour, for any alsa app.

Try rebuilding LS with both jack and alsa.

Re: SVN configure?

Ok, got this one figured out finally. Dependent on your version of autoconf, the svn directory is D/L from the LS site, then cd into that directory, and run: autoreconf --install to create an executable configure. Then run ./configure <with any options you want> followed by make then make install (a...

did you

make -f Makefile.cvs?

Greetings,
antiesen

antiesen, I would if i was using CVS. I'm referring to the SVN build. LS has switched.

Not a silly question though.

SVN configure?

Is SVN ./configure (options) working correctly? I seem to be missing some sort of configure executable, and/or no autogen to build one.

Anyone else?

This is for all normal svn installs, that is, non java.

Re: Drumkits

Nicop, For each midi port you get 16 channels. Create a channel strip, then on the right of the strip you'll see a down arrow for options. Press the arrow, and you'll see the channel expand with extra options for you to set. In that option section, in the middle you'll see a value box in which you c...

openoctavemidi impending release

As a quick note to users, we're close to releasing openoctavemidi2. Many new features have been added, in particular, a bank and patch management system that links closely with LinuxSampler, and will import your midi maps from LS, using our new lscp client messaging system. OOM2 is a linux 32 and 64...
