Re: Windows beta pre-release (incl. VST and 64 bit binaries)
Right, installed this pre-release linuxsampler on the desktop PC and loaded the Stiehr-Mockers Organ samples from the Eglise Protestant in Romanswiller, France into Fantasia stand alone (22 instruments on the rack playing simultaneously) and played my heart out, two manuals and pedals (= 3 Midi keyb...

Re: Windows beta pre-release (incl. VST and 64 bit binaries)
No, just Jack Audio (Jackdmp for Windows build)
I have just confirmed that the VST loads and works in Reaper (64-bit) running in my VMware Windows XP Prof (64-bit) test environment. Looking good

Re: Windows beta pre-release (incl. VST and 64 bit binaries)
Hi, So far I have succesfully loaded the linuxsampler VST in VSTHost, SAVIHost, Cantabile 1.2 Lite, and Cakewalk Sonar 6. This is on my laptop running WindowsXP Prof 32-bit, Jack 1.9.2 using the ASIO4ALL generic drivers (dual-core Intel Centrino, 2 Gig Ram). I don't have keyboards connected to the l...

Re: Issue with VSTHost and Windows LinuxSampler VST
Well, I just tested this on my laptop with ASIO and I still get the issue, so it looks like some kind of bug to me. I will post to the developers groups now and see what advice is given. If there is no way to solve this I will then log a bug.

Issue with VSTHost and Windows LinuxSampler VST
Hi, Both myself and another Virtual Pipe Organ enthusiast have been trying out the VST pluggin (mostly in Win32). I have it succesfully running in Cantabile, Reaper, and Cakewalk Sonar. Lynn tried it in VSTHost and encountered some very strange behavior - Fantasia loads, you can succesfully load the...

Re: Backend control
Hi James, Glad that you've got it going nicely! Yes, Jack is a bit of a mystery the first time that you use it - and the available documentation is sparse. However, once you have wrapped your head around what it is and what it does it is THE most powerful audio utility. And is available in Linux, Wi...

Re: Windows LinuxSampler VST - More Info Needed!
Yup, would you believe it, there was an old version in "C:\WINDOWS\system32"! from a build I did last December. There was a libgig in there as well, so all those are gone and it's now listing in Reaper. Thank you! Thank you!!

Re: Fantasia and my Creamware card, Windows
Hi Pete, You can set the polyphony in Fantasia; From the menu... Edit -> Preferences -> General Tab -> Maximum number of voices, Maximum number of disk streams. Make sure that you have more disk streams than voices. Glad it's working better, but with almost two years worth of updates and patches add...

Re: Windows LinuxSampler VST - More Info Needed!
I just recopied all the dlls from the build machine on to the organ computer and still get the same error... It looks like the LinuxSampler version was bumped up to version 0.5.1.12cvs on 2009-03-27. Would this be causing the version missmatch?
