Re: Any Linuxsampler engine support any MIDI CC messages?

The gig engine has full support of CC messages, that is, all that is supported by the gig format. You can for example create a gig where the attack, decay or release in the different envelope generators are modulated by CC messages. The filter cutoff and resonance and the depth of the LFOs can also ...

Re: sqlite or linuxsampler??

If I remember correctly, I found the instability in the database import to be mostly connected to the feedback back to Fantasia. If you send the LSCP import command with netcat or something similar, without having Fantasia running, I think it works better.

Re: Non-realtime batch mode

No, there's currently no such mode supported. The audio thread simply counts on the disk thread to keep up, to always have data ready. The audio thread never waits for the disk thread, which would be needed in a freewheel mode.

Re: Any new releases for 2011?

It's not a real release, but have a look at the news section at www.linuxsampler.org. You can now try out the CVS version on Windows without needing to compile it yourself.

Re: ardour + linusampler = no lv2 instance configuration retriev

LinuxSampler LV2 uses the Save/Restore LV2 extension. Maybe that extension isn't supported by Ardour? I know there's work going on for another state saving extension, maybe we should switch to that one, but I don't think it is supported by any host yet.

Re: LinuxSampler 2.0 ?

Yes, sorry, I was wrong there. The problem more probably has something to do with this command: echo "/c/Progra~1/gtkmm/share/aclocal" >> /mingw/share/aclocal/dirlist aclocal doesn't seem to find the macros for pkg-config. Do: aclocal --print-ac-dir The result should be /mingw/share/aclocal Do: cat ...

Sorry, you can't. We currently don't provide any compiled version later than 1.0.0.
