Mass midi map volume editing?

Hey all, I've got a midi map named Synths 1 which is a collection of various synths etc. I've found unfortunatly that they're simply too loud in comparision to my piano/organ/electric piano sounds. Is there any way I can make my 2 banks of 127 + 83 patches load with -10db volume levels automatically...

Re: Some converted soundfonts play as giga, some don't?

My bad! I just figured it out!

Some soundfonts, when converted to gig seem to get the filter turned on to:

Lowpass
Cutoff:0

Which of course results in all sound being filtered, so no sound is heard even though I'm playing notes.
Thanks a mill for the advice Cuse!!

Re: Some converted soundfonts play as giga, some don't?

Well here's the output from one of the gig files. I honestly can't see what's wrong with them... gigdump ARGONOTE\ A#M.gig: Global File Informations: Total instruments: 1 Version: 3.0.0.0 ArchivalLocation: ' ' ALL defined Groups: Group 1) Name: "Default Sample Group" ALL Available Samples (as there ...

Some converted soundfonts don't play as giga [RESOLVED]

I've got a strange problem with some soundfonts that I've converted to Giga, namely that some of them play and I can hear sound from them in linuxsampler, but others don't play any sound, despite the voice count showing 2/2 (which would indicate that the file is being played?). The strange thing is ...

Re: Linux VST, does it work?

Hey Johan, What does the window look like? Is it the Fantasia GUI? AFAIK, the linuxsampler backend has to be loaded up by just typing 'linuxsampler' into a terminal (though it can be started automatically by Fantasia.) Also, why run linuxsampler/fantasia as a plug-in in renoise when you could just r...

Re: Joining individual gig files together?

I should be more clear:

Say I have a gig file named Bourdon 8.gig that has got modwheel crossfades and release samples and I want to combine that single patch in the gigfile with another gigfile, say Bourdon 4.gig. So I can have a single gig file with two patches in it, Bourdon 8 and Bourdon 4?

Joining individual gig files together?

Are there any tools out there for joining individual gig files together? I have a number of gig files that have various parameters assigned to them (modwheel cross fades/release samples) and I want to preserve these without having to reprogram them all over again. So are there any tools that can non...

Bugs found.

I've tried fiddling with the Random Generator dimension and using two-three different samples for 1 ff velocity layer, but I couldn't hear a difference.. One thing to note about round robin though, and I'm pretty sure it's a bug: I created one velocity layer and put 3 different velocity layers in a ...

Re: Gigedit/round robin?

Yeah, I actually decided to have a go at programming them in gigedit, for the experience and I set the dimension to roundrobinKeyboard. But like I said, I can only hear one sample being played for each velocity layer, not different samples.

Gigedit/round robin? [Bugs found]

Hey all, I'm having a problem with Keyboard Round Robin, namely that the samples don't seem to be switching at all! http://moose.linux-coders.org/RRF.mp3 This patch I'm messing around with has about 6 velocity layers for about 5 velocities each, but yet I can only hear one sample for each velocity.....
