Many thanks for your answers. I compiled the files as descibed in the HowTo and it seems to be working now. I only have to figure out now how gigedit is working...

Hello! I have a problem with installing gigedit. If I try to install the ".deb" from http://download.linuxsampler.org/packages/debian/ it fails with the comment "Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libflac7". I checked this and found libflac8 installed on my machine... What can (or must) I do? Is ...
