sudo apt-get install libtool did the trick. I realised that it was missing. I just didnt realise it was as simple as that to get it. Now I have a final (hopefully) issue that I don't have the Jack/Alsa development (header files). does anyone now what I need to install to get them? Thanks heaps - Luke
