Re: Multiple CPU cores

Thank you very much for your interest.
Great idea, so to simplify.
But I do not know how to assign a specific CPU thread to the audio channel. Can you give an example of some script?

Re: Multiple CPU cores

Small correction. Schedtool simplified hex signs CPU. e.g.: 0x16 has been replaced by just the number 4 CPU core.
To simplify the detection process in which the CPU is working:
ps -eo psr,pid
I greet

Re: Multiple CPU cores

Again, he found a solution, at least half of the problem. It is software that allows you to assign a process to a selected CPU core. I found it here: http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/hardy/man8/schedtool.8.html http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/setting-processor-affinity-certain-task-or-process.html ...

Re: Multiple CPU cores

It's true. LS is a very cost-effective for the CPU. It's cool. But human nature is such that we still want more. Now I can afford to enjoy this polyphony of 125 votes, but 325 would be a lot better. For example, classical pipe organ, polyphonic in high resolution can not be completely done on one CP...

Multiple CPU cores

Do you plan to support for multiple CPU cores? What about the fact that I have a six core AMD CPU and virtually LS together with cooperating programs only work on two cores. In practice, it is used by only a third of the computer. Could be increased significantly and the number of voices polyphony. ...

Autostart LS

Even dessert. Scripts run by the startup. Of course, all components must be well prepared and configured. Qjackctl set to automatically start jackd. You should install moreutils (function parallell). Mididings Rakarrack like to be well prepared, create a preset file. In fact, the month of work ... B...

Re: Stable and comfortable

O Sorry I forgot about overloading functions based on existing instruments as PERSISTENT. LSCP my sample file: LOAD INSTRUMENT NON_MODAL '/home/play/D organ.sfz' 0 0 SET CHANNEL MIDI_INSTRUMENT_MAP 0 0 4 3 LOAD INSTRUMENT NON_MODAL '/home/play/D percussion.sfz' 0 1 SET CHANNEL MIDI_INSTRUMENT_MAP 1 ...

Stable and comfortable

As in the title, but under several conditions. I work at lubuntu (lxde) quantal 12.10. Adding repository only blablack in launchpad. Now I add no other audio repositories than UbuntuStudio. LS requires a very stable system, innovations are often inaccurate. Ladish is still unstable, jackdbus, jackd2...

Re: Featured bass and melody

Is it possible to load files on the same basis as it is already active in the loading of channels each separately? Of course I mean the format sfz. This method of charging, if you do not need to bypass the samples and thus is very fast and error-free. It is unfortunately only possible through each c...
