Re: Assigning Midi Ports to channels
Yep, LS as a plugin instance only has 1 port per plugin instance. 1 port=16 channels. If you want more, add another plugin instance. Which ever instance is selected, or in focus, is the one Fantasia will provide an interface for. I've experimented with this using LV2, and opened multiple plugin inst...

libgig-svn build fail?
Just tried the latest libgig svn and get the following configure error:
/configure: line 14891: syntax error near unexpected token `SNDFILE,'
./configure: line 14891: `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(SNDFILE, sndfile >= 1.0.2, ac_cv_sndfile=1, ac_cv_sndfile=0)'
Any clues?

Re: linux sampler is not working
You've got half the job done. What you see when starting with the command "linuxsampler" is the backend, or LS server. This backend is waiting to be fed data, usually in the form of an .lscp file, which is a "template of data" you build yourself. You can do this in a LS frontend or User interface, l...

Re: Conversion to sfz or gig files
I'll assume here that the release samples are in their own group. Because if this the case, you only need to add the volume opcode to the group, and tweak it accordingly. Make sure the opcode isn't already added to each region. If you have a multi-velocity layer SFZ, where you have release for each ...

Re: Impossible to export audio with sonar
Sounds like you're using ON_DEMAND mode for loading samples.
Try loading patches with ON_DEMAND_HOLD, and see how you get on. This mode loads the patch and keeps it loaded in the background for the channel, until you close the LS instance.

Re: midi message ignore option ?
Jick, I think you'll need to apply a filter to any incoming midi CC you want to exclude, external of LS.

possible jack outputs bug?
I'm mirroring this here, as the LS ML is telling me the email i sent is too large. I have a challenge with an LS, in that from time to time, when building up a new template, or tweaking an existing one, that LS jack audio output ports don't always "set" as output ports, but appear and behave as inpu...

Re: max pitch value (octaves)
Cuse, starts, runs, and reducing the max-pitch to 1 octave seems to have saved me a bit of RAM.
Thanks for the heads up.
