Re: Gigedit: filter velocity response problem
Oh well, talking to myself again -- a sure sign of insanity  Now I've managed to get live editing working, it's been much easier experimenting with the velocity curves and velocity layers. I think I've finally managed to achieve what I wanted, a velocity-insensitive low pass filter that is cont...

Re: gigedit builds but linuxsampler can' tuse it
I've sold this problem for myself very easily. I had a read through the Gigedit Quickstart guide, specifically the section Trouble With Live Editing . From this I realised that I had built things in the wrong order -- I had built Gigedit first, then LinuxSampler. By rebuilding Gigedit (just the usua...

Re: Gigedit: filter velocity response problem
So there's no-one able to answer this simple question? I had a few more questions about using Gigedit, in particular about keyswitching, because the documentation is a long way from being clear.
I guess I'll give up on developing these gig files I'm working on then.

Re: gigedit builds but linuxsampler can' tuse it
Yeah, I found the same thing so will be following this. I ended up just running gigedit from a terminal then unloading/reloading the gig in Jsampler after fiddling.

Gigedit: filter velocity response problem
Hello again I have another question :o ;) In the gig file I'm making, I don't want the samples to be velocity sensitive in any way (it would be totally unnatural for the instrument). I've managed through trial and error to get them playing back at constant volume. I've put a low pass filter on the s...

Gigedit: changing instrument order in a gig file
Hello I'm currently creating a .gig file consisting of several individual instruments. I realise I've not put the instruments in the best order and would like to re-arrange them -- is that possible? I've changed the midi program number for each, but when I load the gig into LS, all the instruments s...
