Re: Hydrogen

http://hydro2sf2.googlecode.com/files/Hydrogen%20Drumkits.gig Ok, so this time, I just made one very large collection gig font. This should make it easier to distribute, and use, and I think the compression benefits from it (less headers, more data to run through? I dunno.) It has all the soundfont...

Re: Hydrogen

Sure!

I am not sure what the licensing is.

Hydrogen is distributed under the terms/conditions of the GNU General Public Licence.

They added a whole bunch of new ones, so I should probably convert the rest if people are interested.

Re: How to sample

Get one of these for the mini-ITX psu. Very small, no fan, totally silent. Also, really energy efficient.

Re: Feature request - loop editor

new versions of swami have a pretty nice one, plus auto-detection of loop points. Not all the loops are good (sometimes too short, etc) but it's much easier to just go through the loops it found, until you find one that works the way you want. http://swami.resonance.org/trac/screenshots/2?width=517&...

Hydrogen

I made a script that converts hydrogen drumkits to SF2 soundfonts available on google code . I converted all the drumkits on the hydrogen site to gig files, using awave studio in a windows emulator. It's about 11 megs, and available here (temporary, may move, at some point.) This will allow you to u...

Re: Gigedit workflow

Cool, thanks for the info. I knew about zero-crossing, but all the other info is new, and sounds really good. I guess I am looking for a way to replicate the "find loops" feature of swami, without using swami (can't get it compiled, and anyway it seems really geared towards SF2s.) For now, I will tr...

Re: Gigedit workflow

The thing I have the most trouble working with is loop points. Do you have any suggestions for finding loop points? Any plans for auto-detection, like new versions of swami? Any ideas on how I could write a little python script to do this with plain wav files (spit out list of possible loop points)?...
