Re: Which LADSPA FX would you add to a LS plugin?
Sure, but how would it exactly be a good thing? How would it improve anyone's workflow as opposed to having the FX controls somewhere else in the DAW? For instance, I don't think send-like FX like reverb work well in instrument plugins. Inserts, like EQ and compressors would be handy, though. Perhap...

Which LADSPA FX would you add to a LS plugin?
I am not making any promises, but now that FLAM is out it is time to give some love to ls16 , which will actually become ls1 and reduce its memory footprint, and qgiged will come next some time this year. As time allows, as per usual. So, would it make sense to integrate optional FX into an hypothet...

Re: Any Linuxsampler engine support any MIDI CC messages?
The gig engine is fairly complete. AFAIK sfz and sf2 are in a very early stage.

Re: How-to install LS in Ubuntu, and avoid the libgig6 conflict.
I m installing with compiling now, but I was looking for good values to compile. I found a good article here: Use the benchmark directory in LS source distribution: http://www.linuxsampler.org/debian.html#benchmark There is a thread about compilation flags for LS here: http://bb.linuxsampler.org/vi...

Re: beginner horribly confused
It doesn't seem LS is really the right tool for you, from what you describe. LS is not designed to trigger arbitrary samples, rather it works with sampled instrument libraries.

Re: Crisis GM 3.01: Now in .gig format!
The original link seems to be down, so I have uploaded the full gig to my DropBox:

Perhaps this can be mirrored in ls.org too?

Re: A little friendly nitpicking.
Need this be as difficult as it is? How nice it would be to download an application, run it and that's it. The commercial operating systems manage it. Can't we. Many people think "difficult" when they see "different". They forget that they had to learn Windows or MacOS too. For instance, for Window...

Re: ls16: another take on a LS DSSI plugin
Hi. A few users have identified a couple of issues when installing ls16. If after installing it ls16 is not detected, it is most likely because the linuxsampler installation package didn't add liblinuxsampler to the dynamic loader cache. You can test this by observing the results of ldd /usr/lib/dss...

ls16: another take on a LS DSSI plugin
Hi there. ls16 is a "proof of concept" type of project in my investigations about audio plugin guis for Linux. Still, it is not completely useless, so I decided to release it. Read the webpage, take good note of the caveats and give it a whirl to see if it is something you can find a use for. http:/...
