Multiple instruments in one sfz file (GM Compatible sfz)
Hello, I want to create an GM compatible sfz instrument bank. This means an sfz which has references to multiple instruments/samples. You just load the one sfz and then can change the instrument via MIDI CC for instrument change (patch). Does the sfz format support this? Does Linuxsample support this?

sharing lscp files (file path problem)
Hello, I want to share my lscp files because these are large setups for static sample libs, but I fear that is not possible. Maybe you can offer a workaround or at least a reason. The problem is that lscp allows only absolute file paths. So my homedir or my /mnt dir is always in there. I read the "l...

In jack2 svn, I heard from sletz, is windows (and mac) jackmidi code including a bridge to connect to your winmme hardware.

Re: Jackmidi, Windows, Clients
Good news. According to one Jack-developer there are now bridges for Windows in jack2's SVN.
This means its now possible to actually use apps with midi-input via jack or midi-output via jack in Windows.
jackd -R -S -X winmme -d portaudio

Re: Jackmidi, Windows, Clients
1. JACK MIDI out -- so that we can use it together with LinuxSampler (d'oh!) On its way. But is LinuxSampler capable of Jack-Midi In? Denemo is Cross-Plattform, too, so they will work in Windows together if LS is jackmidi and not just native midi. Btw. the bridges for winmme<->jackmidi and coremidi...

Re: Jackmidi, Windows, Clients
Before I made my posting to this board I had a talk with Stephane. The point is: There is already Jackmidi both in Windows and MacOS, but there is no Bridge to the actual hardware (for example midi keyboard). In linux Jack has the -x option, that is the ALSAbridge, which is on by default in qjackctl...

Jackmidi, Windows, Clients
Hi Linuxsampler, greetings from Denemo, the free GNU notation editor (http://www.denemo.org) . We are cross plattform (currently Linux and Windows, Mac is unsupported because nobody tries to compile it). We only have Linux Midi-In note after note support with jack-midi at this time but but we do som...

Re: VSTi status
Oh, ok. Linuxsampler as VSTi plugin.
Then I guess the vote is for the LV2 plugin.
But it WOULD be great to host dssi, lv2 and linux-vsti and wine-vsti with Linuxsampler. Makes it the LinuxUberSampler
