Error compiling Gigedit
Hi Guys, I'm trying to compile everything in Ubuntu 10.10 using the jack-jackd2-dev libraries, everything compiles and installs ok except Gigedit, which returns this error: dh_installdeb: Compatibility levels before 5 are deprecated. install -o 0 -g 0 -d debian/tmp/DEBIAN dh_shlibdeps dh_shlibdeps: ...

Re: Bugs in sfz/sf2 engines
I just tried adding
<control>
loop_mode=loop_continuous
to the sfz file of one of the sustaining instruments, and still no loop... so I guess this really is a bug?

Re: Bugs in sfz/sf2 engines
Hmm, I see from the LinuxSampler SFZ Reference that there are loop definitions available... (loop_mode=, loop_start=, loop_end=), so perhaps one just needs to tweak the sfz definition files to get the loops working?
Has any one done this yet?

Re: Bugs in sfz/sf2 engines
Hi Guys, I have downloaded and installed the most recent Windows snapshot (thanks for that awesome idea!), and have played the Salamander piano sfz set, and a bunch of the instruments in the Creative Commons Orchestra set (Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra). They are both sounding great :) The biggest qu...

Re: Windows 64 bit VST: No GUI?
Hi Roland,
You loading the 64-bit VST plugin not the 32-bit VST plugin.. If you're loading the 64-bit then your Java install does not support it and Fantasia won't be able to load... try the 32-bit VST plugin

Re: Status and release plans
Ok, so I can go ahead and start testing some soundfonts then? Give me a couple of weeks to get things compling from SVN again and I'll see what results I get.
Thanks,
GrahamG

Re: Status and release plans
Thanks for that update, do any other users have info on the SF2 support, and if there will be a release version soon?

Status and release plans
Hi Guys,
What is the latest status of the SFZ and SF2 engines? Is it worth planning for a LinuxSampler release sometime soon or is there still too much development or testing that needs to happen?
Kind regards,

Re: No Sound in Windows 7
Hi Josh, In Windows 7 the audio layers are different to Win XP and so ASIO4ALLv2 sometimes has a hard time getting access to the audio device. Most likely some other program is using (or at least accessing) the soundcard. Go into the advanced configuration portion of the ASIO4ALL icon and see what i...
