bigfishaudio: Prosonus Orchestral Library

The market is big, the differences among libraries, too. Discuss which libraries are your digital gold, and which ones are better left in stores.

bigfishaudio: Prosonus Orchestral Library

Post by Markus3000 » Tue Apr 10, 2012 11:01 am

Hi guys

have anyone any experience with the "Prosonus Orchestral Library" from bigfishaudio?

http://www.bigfishaudio.com/detail.html ... 12080::220

After months of searching i found no reseller for the VSL (gig) or the opus 1 / 2. So I think about buying this one mentioned above. The Prosonus is in gig-format - compatible with GigaSampler or Gigastudio 3 - so: does it work with LinuxSampler on Linux?

Thanks!

Yes, gigasampler3 is well supported by linuxsampler. Its too bad the gigasample format is on the way out, because I doubt that many high-quality SFZ files will ever be sold commercially since the format is open. As far as I can tell, there are very few sources of gig files left, free or not.
