Maestro Concert Grand recommended system requirements

Post by garrettendi » Thu Apr 04, 2013 10:30 am

Hi All,

I would like to use the Maestro Concert Grand samples in LinuxSampler to record my midi keyboard. Does anyone know a rough estimate of the specs I would need?

I have an x64 Intel Pentium 2.2 Ghz dual-core, and 3 gigs of RAM running Windows 7. I'm not sure it'd be capable.

Any info would be appreciated!

Your system should be fine. Linuxsampler demands little CPU, but more memory always helps. 3G should be fine for Maestro Concert Grand. By the way, salamander grand, a free SFZ piano, is much better than Maestro IMO:

Thanks for the reply! That does look good, but it's also quite a bit larger. Do you reckon my system could handle it?
