Help with VST - Windows

Post by kuolema » Mon Oct 29, 2012 9:15 pm

Hi, I've been trying to get the LinuxSampler VST to work for hours now, but no matter what Reaper won't recognize it as a vst.
I can get the standalone to work fine, but I can not get the linuxsampler32.dll to show up in Reaper.
I've made sure that the file is in the vst folder that Reaper scans, and I've never had trouble with any of the other vst's I've put in there, so I don't know what's going on.
Can anyone help? This is really frustrating.
Thanks in advance,
kuolema

Maybe it´s blacklisted by reaper. Did you a clear cache /re-scan in reapers preferences? Does linuxsampler work in other hosts?

Oh wow, clear cache worked...not sure why I didn't do that before.
Thanks so much :).

I'm having this problem again and clearing the cache no longer works. linuxsampler just disappeared from my list of plugins for no apparent reason. Anyone know why?
