New application: QMIDICurves

Hi,
I recently bought an AKAI Professional LPK 25 keyboard which works out of the box under Ubuntu. It's only limitation is the impossibility to change the velocity curve. So I decided to code a JACK application !

QMIDICurves is a simple JACK/Qt application (GPL license) that lets you change MIDI-keyboard velocity curve. You can choose one of the 4 pre-configured curves (flat, linear, concave, convex) or load your own defined curves.

You can download the release 1.0 source code and pre-compiled 64 bits version on http://christophe.tornieri.free.fr/wordpress/?p=149.

Hope, you'll like.

Christophe

A new version of QMIDICurves is now available. This new version includes the following features:

* New GUI design
* Create unlimited number of curves
* Edit curves: move, add, remove control points
* Load/Save curves
* Display port connection status

Please, let me know if you encounter problems during compilation or if you have problems using it.
Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

Chris, this one slipped me by, but i've downloaded it for a look. I've visited your site, and noticed Qmidicurves is jack based. (which is good)
I'm not going to use a2jmidid for this, but instead use OOM2 to route the midi keyboard out of OOM2, into Qmidicurves as a jack input, then back into OOM2 as a jack input device.
When i finally have time to do this, as we're close to releasing OOM2 as a stable release, i'll give it a try and let you know how it performs, on my Gentoo system.

Thanks for sharing,

Alex.
