For now I "fixed" all MIDI drivers so they dispatch all bank select messages as ordinary control change messages as well. One might really misuse bank selects that way, because as long as no program change follows, the bank select has no meaning.

How is it going on this front? I would really love to see internal effects and the ability to pan each sample channel so I can do a mixdown to stereo of orchestral pieces without going through Ardour.
