The latest "release" version of libgig corrupts sounds when a .gig file is saved. The bug has been fixed in CVS, but libgig has not been re-released, which prevents potential instrument creators from effectively using gigedit.
The CVS version of gigedit has some very helpful new features.
I humbly suggest that new versions of both libgig and gigedit be released soon so that instrument creators can effectively create .gig instruments on Linux.
Thanks.

Re: Next release
Is there a particular stable release of libgig that you recommend? If so, which version of linuxsampler works with it. I am having trouble compiling linuxsampler-0.5.1 with libgig-3.2.1.
Re: Next release
I installed an earlier version. It worked.
Re: Next release
I hope we can fire out a new release of all subprojects in about a month, when I finally have more time to spend on the project. I want to finish some things before preparing a new release, e.g. finishing internal effects support. In the meantime I recommend you to use the CVS versions of our pets. A lot of things have been fixed since the last release and it really can be considered as "stable".
