I can't quite seem to get the hang of crossfading between layers.
I have various 3 layers, p, mf and f and I can only seem to affect the volume of one layer (I'm fiddling around with attenuation controller).
Any tips?

Re: Crisis GM 3.01: Now in .gig format!
Just noticed this now. Many thanks for mirroring it Luis! Just a note though, there are still some tuning issues still present with the library, in particular the electric pianos, and I haven't touched the Giga CGM for a fair few months now. I suspect the tuning issues might be related to how extrem...

Re: Rosegarden midi-out to LS in
Hm, that, I think would point to having no alsa support compiled into linuxsampler, which is weird if it's from the ubuntu repos or if you compiled it yourself and you have the alsa dev packages installed. :/

Re: Two Bugs found
I have a work-around of sorts for bug #2.
The files in question had % signs in the filename, so I just renamed them. IIRC, linuxsampler uses % signs to deal with spaces in giga files? So this is probably why it hiccuped.

Two Bugs found
Just a heads up on two bugs I've found with the latest CVS of linuxsampler & co. First one is easily reproducable. A converted soundfont (I used Extreme sample converter in WINE) that has 1 or more velocity layers that only extend to a certain range, only covering, say 0-50 midi velocity and another...

Re: Rosegarden midi-out to LS in
Yeah, there's the problem. You need to set the midi input in Qsampler to ALSA, not JACK, for Rosegarden to see it (RG uses Alsa-Midi, not jack midi for midi I/O). In the qsampler devices, just change the Driver option in the top right corner to ALSA, and it should appear in the ALSA tab of qjackctl ...

Re: How does linuxsampler manage .gig files w/ diff presets?
So, why does a 1.4GB file take longer to load one patch compared to loading the same patch as a single patch in a gig file?

Re: Unable to set Client setSoTimeout?
Correctly rectified this problem.
It turns out that net.ipv6.bindv6only was set to 1 in /etc/sysctl.d/bindv6only.conf. The quick fix for this is to set it 0.
